About Us

As a student at Moravian College, now Moravian University, I bought a star-making kit at the Moravian Book Shop and taught myself. I have been making them now for more than 40 years! I have given them as wedding, Christmas, and birthday gifts, made them for baby and wedding showers, created mobiles, hung them on trees, and displayed them in vases and bowls. For years, my friends encouraged me to take the leap and create a business with them! I hope my stars bring you a ray of light and hope in a weary world.

You can find my stars at local fairs and festivals throughout the year and the following locations.

Each star is folded by hand. Starting with quality paper in a variety of patterns, the paper is cut into strips. Those strips are then woven together in intricate folds, creating the star design. Cheryl has mastered a mixture of pressure and folds over the years, making stars everywhere she goes.
